My techniques aim to reach towards an understanding of the true nature of creativity. This promotes a realisation and belief in one's own creative potential.

I use various methods, sometimes incorporating music and movement. This can help the student overcome his or her natural tendency to analyse and pre judge experience and thereby stifle vital ingredients of creativity - spontaneity and intuition.

My basic methods were inspired by my late tutor, the eminent English painter Cecil Collins (a teacher of rare quality).
